Judge Eyes side cases

The official site has highlighted some examples of the side cases (this game’s equivalent of substories) in Judge Eyes. They’re promising a wide variety of cases, from investigating cheating partners and searching for missing persons to defusing bombs and catching wanted criminals. Read on for the details.

Judge Eyes: gameplay information

Here’s some information on the gameplay of Judge Eyes, based on the demo and information from the official site. 

The genre of the game is described as “legal suspense action”. Nagoshi personally oversaw everything about this game. He started work on the story three years ago, and I think that explains why Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio didn’t make a spinoff in the Dragon Engine as practice before making Ryu ga Gotoku 6 – I think they actually used Ryu ga Gotoku 6 as practice in preparation for making this game! 

JUDGE EYES: Shinigami no Yuigon – story and cast information

I’ve translated the story and cast information from the official site. It looks like localisation is totally on top of this one, since they’ve subbed the trailer already and announced the western release (though with no date yet). So it doesn’t look like I’m going to need to do much for it. But of course, I want to know what it’s all about! 

This is still a bit rough, but I don’t have time to do any more right now, so I might come back and tidy it up later. I’ll put up the bits of gameplay info later, or tomorrow. Oh, and since the official site has the cast names in English, with the names in English order (surname last), I’ve stuck with that in the translation this time.
